The all-new Chisel is a world-class alloy full-suspension XC bike that brings race-proven geometry and kinematics from the Epic 8 into a remarkably light, high-performance package. At 18.4% lighter than the closest competitor, it’s designed for fast, efficient pedalling between the tape or on hard-charging local laps. The frame uses Specialized’s D’Aluisio Smartweld hydroformed M5 alloy and delivers 110mm of tuned rear travel.

Ride and Suspension:

Chisel blends a flex-stay rear end with Ride Dynamics–tuned suspension to achieve smooth, controlled performance without the weight or maintenance of multiple pivots. The chassis is matched to a 120mm RockShox Recon fork and an X-Fusion PRO-02 rear shock for confident handling across varied terrain.

Efficiency and Handling:

Geometry and kinematics derived from World Cup hardware optimise pedalling position and anti-squat to reduce bob and turn power into forward speed. A flip-chip lets you fine-tune geometry to suit trail or race setups.

Construction and Componentry:

Advanced hydroforming and one-piece seat-tube construction integrate pivots and the BB shell to save material and weight. The spec pairs a reliable SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain with modern tubeless-ready alloy wheels and high-traction Specialized tyres.
